On the edge of the old island path, Captain Hinnerk is already waiting. In his hands, he holds a small, weathered wooden box, whose lid is adorned with a mysterious symbol – the sign of the Likedeeler League. "Welcome, young explorers," he says in a calm voice. "Many centuries ago, the Likedeeler sailed not only across the North Sea. They also knew every island, every sandbank, and every dangerous current. But their most valuable treasure was never gold."

Slowly, the old captain opens the box. Inside lies an unusual compass. Its compass rose is not made of metal but of shiny amber, with tiny air bubbles trapped inside. "This is the Amber Compass of the Likedeeler," explains Hinnerk. "It did not point north. It always led to wherever people helped each other. As long as there was solidarity, its needle pointed the right way. But when a severe storm struck Baltrum, the compass disappeared without a trace."
