For your Frano City Game Tour, you need the free mytabgame app from our partner Espoto, as well as the access credentials that you receive via email right after your purchase. With this, you can log in to the app and start your tour.
For some products, our browser-based web app is also sufficient (as indicated).
Our games are mostly GPS-based – this means: You need to be within the vicinity of the respective game location (e.g. 40 meters) with your smartphone or tablet for the next task to unlock.
Playing from a distance is therefore not possible.
The actual game duration (excluding breaks) is between 1 and 4 hours, depending on the tour. You can find the exact duration directly at each game or in the tour description.

We recommend playing with 1 person per smartphone or 3-4 people per tablet – this keeps the experience manageable and fun for everyone.
Please note: A purchased game can only be actively used on one device at a time. If you log in on another device with the same credentials during the game, the game progress will be transferred, but the originally used device will be automatically logged out.
In general, a large portion of our FRano City Game Tour products is designed to be accessible and stroller-friendly. However, please note that there may occasionally be unforeseen obstacles, depending on the city – such as construction sites or temporary closures. Additionally, there are some exceptions. Use a protective case for your smartphone or tablet – especially during outdoor tours. It's best to use a carrying strap or crossbody bag to prevent your device from accidentally falling. Hold your device securely, especially when taking photos or filming while moving. Avoid crossing streets carelessly during the game. Safety always comes first. Protect your device from rain and moisture – a small zip bag can work wonders in an emergency. Pay attention to your surroundings, not just your screen – especially in busy or confusing areas.

Bring a water bottle – especially on longer tours or in warm weather. Sunscreen, sunglasses, or an umbrella depending on the weather – the tour is more enjoyable in any weather when you're prepared. Take a look at the starting point on the map in advance so you can start off relaxed. Allow enough time for breaks, photos, and spontaneous discoveries – it shouldn't be a race. Wear comfortable clothing & shoes: Comfortable shoes are gold during city tours, even if there are a few stairs.
